Our mission and vision
At the Center for Relational Excellence, it is our vision and mission to help couples, individuals, and groups learn how to find secure love in themselves, their relationships, and the world they live in. We provide expert couples therapy, individual therapy, relationship education, and psychospiritual development through creative resources and group experiences.
Meet Dr. Michael Regier – Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Michael Regier is a clinical psychologist, marriage counselor and executive coach. He has more than 30 years of experience working with diverse client populations in inpatient, outpatient, addictions and corporate settings. He is a founding member of Kaweah Delta Health Care District’s Psychiatric Residency Program in Visalia, California. He is a member and Past President of the California Central Coast Psychological Association. Dr. Regier is a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT) and Supervisor.
Meet Michael – Teacher, Author, Story Teller, Singer-Songwriter
Michael enjoys expressing his experiences working with love relationships in stories, meditations, poems and songs that open hearts and give direction. He has taught courses to college graduate students and psychiatric residents and has done seminars for therapists, physicians, and church groups on the science and spirituality of lasting love relationships. He and his wife Paula have written the highly acclaimed book, Emotional Connection: The Story & Science of Preventing Conflict & Creating Lifetime Love.
Meet Paula Regier
Paula Regier is an integral part of the Center for Relational Excellence. You’ll find her both on the front lines and behind the scenes. She, like Michael, has a passion for helping couples to thrive in their relationships. Hers is the voice you hear when you call our office. Paula is a master at helping couples with scheduling and organizing the practice. She is a Certified Relationship and Grief Coach.
